Wills and Trusts Seminar

Hope Community Church is addressing various topics of local interest in their series of Real Life Seminars.

Subjects covered in the past have included managing credit and debt, and protecting your identity. Future sessions are being planned to cover: funding higher education, funding your retirement, and understanding medicare and medicaid.

These no-charge meetings are presented by various local professionals in their fields as a basic informational program about the topic. The next topic will be wills and trusts.

During our life on earth, we accumulate assets that need to be taken care of when we die. Many people have a will or a trust that specifies what should happen to these assets upon our death. How these legal documents are prepared is part of Estate Planning.

Protect Your Estate with Wills and Trusts will be presented by local attorney Neil Blakeslee of Blakeslee, Fry and Scales of Rockford on Sunday, March 22 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Mr. Blakeslee will discuss basic estate planning needs including wills and trusts, and how to protect your estate. The public is invited to this meeting. There is no charge to attend.

Hope Community Church is located at 7000 Myers Lake Avenue in Rockford, just 1⁄4 mile north of Road.
