Melanie Bolthouse and James Gavie
Mike and Joyce Bolthouse of Rockford announce the engagement of their daughter Melanie Bolthouse to James Gavie to be united in marriage on April 25, 2009.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Rockford High School and a 2004 graduate of Northern Michigan University. Melanie is employed by Holland Sentinel.
The groom is a 1993 graduate of Northview High School and a 2000 graduate of the University of Michigan. James is employed by Gentex Corp.
The grooms parents are Michael and Sheri Gavie of Grand Rapids.
The couple will honeymoon on a cruise out of Fort Lauderdale, and will reside in Grand Rapids.
Their attendants will be Heather Bolthouse, matron of honor, Jenna Laux, junior bridesmaid, and Jason Gavie, best man.
