Gentle but confident student leads by example

AnnMarie Aulbach, age 10, is the daughter of Ron and Shawn Aulbach and sister to Brennan, Aislynn, Brysonn and Braylenn. She is known by her teachers as a person of genuine consideration and respect for others. Her gentle but confident nature allows her to lead her peers in a positive direction.

AnnMarie is a leader by example, who reaches out and is willing to help at any time.  A sensitive student, she recognizes when someone needs help before being asked. Her teacher recalls when one of her peers was struggling to finish an assignment, AnnMarie guided the student through the work without giving answers but by helping him understand the concepts and skills involved.

A member of the safety patrol at Valley View,  AnnMarie enjoys volunteering her efforts. She also is willing to assist in the classroom and during recess. She also served as a student council member at her school. She was selected to be vice president of her school store. It is clear this girl enjoys life every day in the positive way she interacts with peers and adults. She is humble and does not do things for personal gain or for recognition, but simply from her heart.

AnnMarie is motivated by her love of life, her faith and her belief in helping others. She loves to dance and sing and is involved with musical productions at her church. She also enjoys camping, swimming, spending time outdoors and doing things with her family.

A member of BridgeWay Community Church, she is on the music team for Family Matters, the Kids Bible Challenge team and the Fifth-Sixers youth group. She has participated in Odyssey of the Mind for two years and served as a Green Team member for one year.

With her quiet, confident nature, her genuine consideration of others and her strong belief in the value of helping others without seeking personal gain, AnnMarie is an Example in Excellence at Valley View Elementary.
