Best deals, big fun at Relay sale at D.A.D.’S Tents

On Saturday, April 25 look for the big pink tent at D.A.D.’S  Tents and Party Rentals, 555 Northland Drive, Rockford. Rain or shine from 9 to 3 D.A.D.’S is hosting a multi-team Relay For Life rummage sale with 100 percent of the proceeds going to Relay For Life. All items not sold will be donated to the North Kent Service Center.

“Cancer touches everyone, it’s everywhere,” said Dave Parish, owner. Parish said there will be concessions such as cotton candy and popcorn, and snow cones if the weather is warm. The tent is available for rental with 100 percent of that money going to Relay For Life as well. Parish said he bought the $2,000 tent to support Relay, in which he has participated since the first Rockford Relay six years ago. “This is a community that cares,” he said.
