Rockford baseball is pleased to announce that senior Ethan Post has officially committed to attend school and play baseball at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Post was recruited to be a pitcher for the Fighting Engineers.

Rose-Hulman was again the number-one-ranked engineering school in the country by U.S. News. That is their eighth number-one ranking in a row. In baseball, Rose-Hulman Institute has made three NCAA Division III tournament appearances. Rose-Hulman is currently ranked 24th in the nation.

Last year’s baseball academic All State pitcher, Post continues to improve in both the classroom and on the baseball field. He leads the Rams in pitching. As of May 3, Post is first in innings pitched, first in fewest walks per game, second in strikeouts, and third in ERA. Last trimester, he received an amazing 4.8 grade-point average!

Post is the son of Robert and Yvonne Post.
