Spencer inducted into Tower Guard

Chris Spencer, a 2008 Rockford High School graduate, was recently inducted into the Tower Guard at Michigan State University. The Tower Guard is the oldest student organization on campus. Members pledge 120 hours in service to students with visual and learning disabilities on campus. Members are selected from the top five percent of their class as one of the four pillars of the organization. The other three pillars are leadership, character, and service. Spencer finished the year with a perfect 4.00 grade-point average.
