Local students earn Deans List honors

Baker College of Muskegon recently announced their winter 2009 Deans List. The following students earned a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 for the winter semester. Belmont students include Kaitlyn Cunigan andSamantha Vandriel. Students from Cedar Springs include Nova Blackburn, Tammy DeVries, Kevin Heyboer, Missy Kaiserlian, Patricia Misner, Dennis Ogg, Naelonda Pierre, Sarah Silverman, Carieann Stout, Nathan Struman, Susan VanHemert and Lisa Vanslooten. Greenville students include Kathryn Graves, Samantha Pollock and Deanna Umbarger. Students from Rockford include Kymiri Acklin, Daniel Badovinac, Amber Behrens, Louise Berry, Becky Bowman, Carly Caster, Tamara Christian, Laurel Miller, Brittany Schoonmaker and Jennifer Wilbur. Sparta students include Justin Hampton, Nicole Hansen, Patricia Kelley, Susan Leichty, Saren Love, Jody Ramsey, Rachel Snyder and Jennyfer Walker.

Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio, recently announced that Kristina Ronan, daughter of Dave and Sharon Ronan of Rockford, was named to the university’s Dean’s Honor List for the 2009 spring semester. Kristina is a senior majoring in international studies and theater. To be named to the university’s Dean’s Honor List, a student must earn a 3.75 grade-point average for the semester, be carrying at least 12 semester hours, and have no grade lower than a B for the semester.
