3 vehicles involved in rollover accident

Emergency crews responded to a three-vehicle rollover accident in Algoma Township Friday, July 31. The three vehicles were traveling northbound on U.S.-131 when the incident occurred. One lane was closed by the state police while Algoma Township firefighters checked those involved for injuries. At least one person was injured and was taken by Rockford Ambulance  to a hospital.

The accident happened around 2:17 p.m.  just south of 12 Mile Road.

MSP Rockford dispatch told The Rockford Squire that there were injures but the extend of their injures are unknown at this time.
