Gillen-Koch

Jennifer Koch and Joseph Gillen were united in marriage at Wesley United Methodist Church on May 9, 2009.

The bride is the daughter of Bob and Sue Koch of Rockford. She is a 2008 graduate of the University of Illinois and is currently employed by Carle Clinic.

The groom is the son of Phil and Sue Gillen of Lincoln, Ill. He is also a 2008 graduate of the University of Illlinois and currently employed by Carle Clinic.

Maid of honor was Tracy Turner. Bridesmaids were Christine Lesicko, Katy Grant and Laura Gillen.

Best man was Brennan Simpson. Groomsmen were Peter Gillen, Bob Koch and Seth Koch.

The couple honeymooned in Manzanillo, Mexico, and reside in Urbana, Ill.

 

Hentig

Hentig – Quick

Julie C. Quick and Jamie T. Hentig were united in marriage on Feb. 4 2009 in Rockford where a double ring ceremony was performed.                  

The bride is the daughter of Allen Quick of Rockford and Sandra Murdoch of Cedar Springs.

The groom is the son of James and Patricia Hentig of Rockford.                               

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister-in-law Michelle Murdoch as Matron of Honor. Bryan Gray of Grandville was the Best Man. Nadette Murdoch, the brides niece, was the Flower Girl, dropping rose pedals.                   

A reception was held at the One Eleven Grill downtown Rockford.                   

The bride is a graduate of Cedar Springs High School, and plans to continue persusing her Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality/Torism Managment at an International University in Italy.                    

The groom is a Rockford High School Graduate and is currently serving in the US Army with the 173d Airborne Brigade Combat Medic Team at Camp Caserma Edele. 1/503 PIR                                   

The newlyweds reside in Vicenza, Italy.
