Jim and Kay (Ziegler) Coleman of Rockford will celebrate 50 years of marriage on September 12, 2009, with an open house on Sunday, Sept. 6, at the Rockford Community Cabin from 4 to 8 p.m. Their friends in the community are welcome to attend.
The couple were married in 1959 in Fond Du Lac, Wis. They have five children, Kelly (Barb) Coleman, Michael (Tammy) Coleman, Gary Coleman, Chris (Lindsay Ryerson) Coleman, Diane (Tom) Biggs; six grandchildren, Jeni, Joe, Maddison, Mitch, Drew, Margot, and one on the way; and four great-grandchildren, Max, Avery, Noah, Levi, and another on the way (in loving memory of Alec and Owen).
