The hunt is on

Clever and persistent are a plus if you hope to be the first treasure hunter to track down the Coin in this year’s Cannon Township treasure hunt.

Parts of the first two clues are published here, but you must visit participating businesses to find the rest.

  1. RE: The Hunt… My teen son and I do this annually… nice way to spend some time with him working out the clues and checking to see if we are right. Last year while looking after work (under the very spot it was found before it was announced) when someone driving by stopped and said that it had just been found right there. Getting closer every year. We had high hopes this year… so how do we do it without clues???? I visited one area business… The Grist in Cannonsburg. Made a point to be polite and let them wait on their in/out gas customers as I was just going to make store purchases. When I inquired about the clues I was simply told… we’re out of clues… and out of the Squire. They did not have info for involved businesses or suggestions where I might find them either. I asked if they knew what they were… thinking to write them down myself. No help there either. So now what?

  2. FYI This was Friday when I asked.
