It is with great pleasure the Rockford Education Foundation Board of Trustees introduces its newest members, Gerilyn May and Steve Peterson.

Gerilyn May is the development coordinator for Van Andel Institute and a Rockford High School graduate. She lives in Rockford with her husband and two sons. Gerilyn is active at her church and on several Rockford High School graduating senior parent committees.

Steve Peterson is employed with Wolverine World Wide as the vice president of sales for the Merrell division. Steve is married and has three children. In addition to his sales talents Steve brings to the REF his organizing skills as a race organizer for Mitchell’s Run Thru Rockford.

Gerilyn and Steve are valuable new resources on the Rockford Education Foundation Board and will play a role in helping the REF fulfill its mission of “providing increased educational opportunities for people of all ages in the Rockford community.”
