Rockford Farm Market—8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday through October 31, in the South Squires Street parking lot, off Main St., downtown Rockford, featuring Michigan-grown produce, fresh baked goods, flowers and plants.

Blood Drive, Flu Shots & Safety Day—Hope Community Church, 7000 Myers Lake Ave., Rockford. Blood drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All donors receive a first-aid kit and refreshments. Movies and child care activities available while parents donate. Flu shots (not H1N1) by Spectrum Health Flu Program. Cost is $30.
