RSC Annual Sight-In Days—10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Rockford Sportsmans Club, 11115 Northland Drive, Rockford (between 13 and 14 Mile roads). Silent Auction Benefit—5 to 8 p.m. at Rockford High School’s cafeteria, to benefit terminal cancer patient Susan VanderMeulen. Cost is $5 per person, or $20 per family.

American Sewing Guild Meeting—6:30 p.m. at the Plainfield Senior Center, 5255 Grand River Dr. NE, Grand Rapids. Grand Valley State University professor, Ann Keister, will present “Color Your World.” The cost is $2 for non-members and $1 for members. Refreshments will be served, and Sew and Show presented. Roast Beef Dinner—11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rockford Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, 4195 Thirteen Mile Road, Rockford. Cost is $8 for adults, and $3.50 for children under age 12. Country Music—9:30 to 11:30 a.m. every Tuesday at Rockford Ambulance Community Center, corner of 10 Mile Road and Shaner Avenue in Rockford. Music by the Rogue River Band. Enjoy free coffee, tea and snacks.

“Managing Your Land for Wildlife” Lecture—6 to 8 p.m. at Kent Conservation District office, 3260 Eagle Park Dr., Grand Rapids. If you have wildlife objectives for your property, you should attend. Get the knowledge and resources you need to manage your woodlot or open space. Pre-registration required; space is limited. A suggested donation of $5 per person is requested.
