Boys, girls remain undefeated in OK Red bowling

After only one conference match this week, the boys and girls bowling teams remain undefeated in OK Red conference play. Seniors led the way for both teams with Nick Vandrunen and Aaron Dennis shooting two-game series scores of 253-243 (500) and 225-228 (453) respectively, defeating the Hudsonville boys 20-10. Christina Miller and Katie Schmock shot 221-201 (423) and 159-181 (340) respectively, defeating the Hudsonville girls 23-7.

The wins keep the boys and girls atop OK Red with 3-0 records. Matches continued Monday, Jan. 11, at Jenison and at home on Wednesday against Grand Haven. The Reeths Puffer Invitational is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 16, in Muskegon, starting at 3:30 p.m.

“This was a light week, but now we become very active for the rest of the bowling season through February, with matches on Mondays and Wednesdays and tournaments every Saturday,” said girls coach Lynn Farrance.
