There are only 10 Michigan artists selected for the exhibition The Michigan Collection: Artists from the Great Lakes State and Rockford artist Michael Callihan has been selected as one of the best in the exhibition at Saper Galleries in downtown East Lansing.

Callihan’s pastoral oil pantings of Michigan landscapes, both real and imagined, are at the centerpiece of the exhibition which continues through February.  “Spiritually, emotionally, and aesthetically pure”, is how gallery owner Roy Saper describes Callihan’s dreamlike landscapes.
