Power Baseball and Softball center now open in Rockford

Jared Smith, 11, of Sparta readies to hit the ball inside the newly opened baseball/softball training facility near US-131 and Ten Mile Road on Graphics Drive. Lisa, Jared’s mother, said training with Coach Bob Simonson has had a huge impact on the boy’s ability to hit. “It’s been a huge difference in his confidence level,” she said. “He’s teaching him to hit down the line. Before, he was hitting it up a lot. He’s looking forward to starting the season.” To find out more about Power Baseball and Softball training, find the Facebook page or call (616) 570-8537.
