
Stephen Cruickshank has graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with a bachelor of science degree in history and a bachelor of science degree in foreign area studies, with an emphasis on Russian. At the time of graduation, Cruickshank accepted his commission as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force. The son of Chris and Kim Cruickshank, Stephen is a 2006 graduate of Rockford High School.
During his time at the Academy, Cruickshank was a manager of the Air Force Academy lacrosse team, Squadron Commander of Cadet Squadron 30 for the fall semester of his senior year. For several semesters at the Academy he was named to the Dean’s List for academics, Commandant’s List for military excellence, as well as the Athletic List.
After a 60-day leave period, 2nd Lt. Stephen Cruickshank will report to Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue, Neb., to begin training for the Office of Special Investigations for the United States Air Force.
