Falling rock kills local girl

Audra Brownell died when she was struck by a rock in a parking lot in Colorado.

A 17-year-old Cedar Springs High School student died Wednesday, June 16, when she was hit by a falling rock in Colorado. Girls lacrosse take state championship

Rockford's Lady Rams lacrosse team took the state championship against Brighton, bringing the Division I title out of the metro Detroit area for the first time ever.

The Rockford girls lacrosse team claimed their first Division 1 state title  Saturday defeating the Brighton Bulldogs 19-11 in front of a sea of orange clad  Ram fans.
