Specialist David Durant visited the residents of Bishop Hills Friday, July 2, to thank them for the shipments of cookies and the morale boost for their troops. He took the time to answer questions and share his experience in Iraq.

He brought his family, wife Kaylee, two children and mother-in-law Ramona Hinton. They had the opportunity to meet Clarence Blakeslee and let him know they had read his book about World War II.
