Special fall leaf pick-up runs Oct. 18 to Nov. 30

During this time period, Rockford residents may rake leaves to the parkway for pick-up and bags are not required. However, those wishing to still use the biodegradable bags are encouraged to do so. All other yard waste must be bagged as normally required throughout the summer season.

Additionally, brush with a minimum length of four feet and maximum diameter of six inches can still be placed in the parkway for chipping on Mondays. The yard waste program ends, regardless of date, when the snow arrives.
