Majerle signs letter of intent

Rockford basketball’s 6’4” senior guard Ryan Majerle made his early commitment official to attend University of Toledo on a basketball scholarship on Wednesday, Nov. 10. Majerle earlier committed to the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, but decided to follow his coach Todd Kowalczyk last April when he accepted the head coaching position at Toledo.

Majerle will be a four-year varsity player for his dad, who is head coach at Rockford High School. He is currently on pace to be in the top three of almost every statistical category in Rockford’s basketball history.
