Local school recognized for parent loyalty, satisfaction

Parental support is critical to a child’s success in school. Understanding the importance of this, charter school operator National Heritage Academies (NHA) has encouraged parent loyalty by recognizing its schools that demonstrate high levels of parental satisfaction and loyalty.

NHA recently announced its 2009-2010 Eagle Award winners for parent loyalty, including Chandler Woods Charter Academy of Belmont. To receive this award, 60% or more of the school’s parents must be very satisfied with their child’s school—a statistic measured in an NHA parent survey. In total, NHA rewarded 22 schools with an Eagle Award in this category.
