Marilyn Grant couldn’t be more proud of her daughter, Brenda Hart. Hart, a 1984 Rockford graduate, took time off her higher education to raise her four children. Now the Rockford resident, who takes time to care for a grandchild, has finished her college education, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Ferris State University with a degree in nuclear medicine. “I think she deserves to be recognized,” said Grant. Hart is graduating May 6, 2011, with a 399 grade point average and will now look for a job, hopefully in the growing medical industry in Grand Rapids.
