Kent District presents Around the World—Easy as 1, 2, 3

Young children love to count. Kids ages 6 and under are invited to Kent District Library’s (KDL) Around the World—Easy as 1, 2, 3 program. Come explore new cultures with stories, songs and crafts that celebrate counting around the world. Activities include painting with watercolors, hopscotch, bowling, a parachute game, and much more!

The Krause Memorial branch of the KDL will offer this program at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 13. This free program is part of KDL’s Summer Reading Club—a season of reading, learning and fun at the library. People of all ages can sign up at any KDL branch June 13 through August 6. This year, KDL offers Baby Bingo for babies 18 months and younger, One World, Many Stories for kids 18 months through fifth grade, You are Here for teens grades 6-12, and Novel Destinations for adults. Everyone has the chance to win great prizes including gift cards, an iPod, and even a Nook Color eReader!
