Many Rockford businesses open Sunday
A Charmed Life Nail Salon owner Kristine Gault took exception with a letter to the editor which took downtown merchants to task for failing to maintain Sunday hours. Gault compiled the following list of shops which will be open June 12.
Downtown Rockford businesses that are open Sundays are: A Charmed Life… Nail Salon 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Arnie’s Bakery & Restaurant 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Aunt Candy’s Toy Company 12 to 5 p.m., Custard By The Dam 12 to 10 p.m., Dry Dock 12 to 5 p.m., Glik’s 12 to 4 p.m., Great Northern Trading Co. 12 to 5 p.m., Grill One Eleven 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Herman’s Boy 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Kimberly’s Boutique 12 to 5 p.m., Rudy Kazoody’s 12 to 5 p.m., Open Mind 12 to 5 p.m., Poindexter’s Specialty Marketplace 12 to 6 p.m., Reading Books 12 to 4 p.m., Rogue River Tavern 12 p.m. to 2 a.m., Sage & Roses 12 to 4 p.m., Sassy Pants Boutique 1 to 5 p.m., The Corner Bar 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and The Dam Dogs 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
