Students invited to 2011 Arts Camp

Experience the magic of visual and performance arts

The Rogue River Theatre, sponsored by Rockford Area Arts Commission, is holding the eighth annual Summer Theatre Arts Camp July 18-22 at North Rockford Middle School. Several children from the Rockford area schools entered the camp’s t-shirt contest for best design to be used on the 2011 camp t-shirt. Pictured is first-place winner Destiny Batchelder from Roguewood Elementary School. Earning second place was Elise DenBraber, taking third was Peyton Heowski, and Keelyn Fife earned fourth place. To register for the camp—the theme this year is “Fairytales, Myths and Lore”—with classes in visual and performance arts by professional instructors, call (616) 874-5264. The camp is for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
