Beautiful scenery for third Twilight Walk

Gilda’s Club benefit of event 

Walkers pace the track at Grattan Raceway.

Visit scenic Grattan for an evening of entertainment including music by the Stroke Of MidnitE and memory and tribute flags for those affected by cancer. The walk takes place at the Grattan Raceway Thursday, August 4 with registration at 5 p.m. Organizers hope the evening of comraderie for a good cause will include residents sitting down with camp chairs to enjoy the music after walking the scenic two mile course.

Described as a “heartwarming event,” the walk will include viewing memory and tribute flags and stylists will be available for those who wish to donate hair to Locks of Love in honor of loved ones. Hair should be eight inches long or longer.

The Grattan Twilight Walk Cancer Walk Team hope donations to Gilda’s Club, a free cancer and grief support community of children, adults, families and loved ones, will make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. For more information, visit online at GrattanTLCWalk.com.
