OBITUARIES — Cederquest

Cederquist 

Mr. Robert Winfield Cederquist (CQ), age 77, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at the family farm in Howard City.

Surviving Mr. Cederquist are his children, Michele (Ken) Ross, Susan Cederquist, Robert J. Cederquist and Rebeka Cederquist; his grandchildren, Alixandra David, Jessica Baty, Carter Redburn, Mackenzie Allan, Hannah Cederquist, Kelsey Lewis and Kate Lewis; his brother, Gerald (Sylvia) Cederquist and their children, Anne (Keith) Torgeson, Gerald Cederquist Jr., Michael (Robin) Cederquist, Liz (Bob) Dale, and Christopher (Benita) Cederquist.

Mr. Cederquist served in the United States Army and was retired from the Reith Riley Construction Company of Ada, Mich. Mr. Cederquist spent his retirement years on the family farm with his beloved shepherd dog, Nikki. He was also an active member of the Eagles Club in Stanton.

A funeral mass for Mr. Cederquist will be celebrated at Christ The King Catholic Church, 9596 N. Reed Rd., Howard City on Saturday, August 27 at 10 a.m. In remembrance, relatives and friends may visit with the family at the church, Friday, August 26 from 6 to 8 p.m., as well as one hour prior to the services Saturday. For those who wish, and consistent with Mr. Cederquist’s deep love for animals, memorial donations may be made to your local Humane Society.
