North Court Netters runner-up in Circuit state championship

The North Court Netters sixth-grade team competed with girls from all over Michigan in the Michigan Circuit Finals July 29-31 in Grand Rapids. The Netters took home runner-up status, losing to a team from Marshall. Pictured are (front row, left to right) Kendra Veitengruber, Meghan Boyd, Makayla Seelye; (middle) Leah Ferguson; (back row) Coach Bill VanderVelde, Libby O’Brien, Carlee Lindsey, Olivia Rademacher, Kenzie VanderVelde, Madison Helms, and Coach Steve Helms. Also playing in the championship but not pictured was Meredith Harkema.
