You can help the Rockford High School marching band and have a chance to win a 2012 Chevy Cruze! Band parents are selling raffle tickets before the home varsity football games, in front of the stadium, from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m., and at the Rockford Marching Band Invitational on September 17 from 1 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased at various venues around town where you see the car, or from any band parent. Tickets are $20 apiece, or six for $100. The proceeds from this fundraiser help make the band music programs affordable for all students in grades 6-12. The winning ticket will be drawn during the homecoming game on Friday, October 14.
