Harvest, petting zoo a perfect match

Youngsters are invited to visit the 10th annual petting zoo at Bishop Hills Elder Care Community, 4951 Eleven Mile Road (behind Our Lady of Consolation Church) in Rockford on Friday, Sept. 30 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. According to Sue Bodenner, of Bishop Hills, youngsters love petting the variety of creatures brought in by Farm Animals on the Go! The event is free and one of the fun, interactive things to do at Rockford’s 35th annual three weekends of Harvest Fest.
