Sign up for youth Rockford water polo program

Rockford High School men’s varsity water polo Coach Dave McWatters, his assistants and some of his student-athletes will offer a winter age-group water polo program for boys in the eighth grade and under. The program begins the afternoon of December 3 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., and will continue on eight other Saturdays at the Rockford High School pool. Boys will be introduced to the great sport of water polo, work on the fundamentals of the game, and have fun! No prior water polo experience is necessary, though swimming experience is helpful. The cost is $79 (out of district $110); second child same family $40 (out of district $60). Check should be made payable to Rockford Public Schools, and are due (along with registration) at first session attended. Please contact Coach McWatters by e-mail at djmcwatters@gmail.com or by phone at (616) 690-7643 for more information.
