Walter-Maczka 

Stephanie Rae Maczka of Grand Rapids and Jeffrey Michael Walter previously of Mundelein, Ill. were united in marriage on July 16, 2011 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Grand Rapids. The reception was held at La Scala in the historic Ledyard Building in Grand Rapids.

Parents of the bride are Timothy and Nan Maczka of Rockford. The groom is the son of Frank and Cindy Walter of Auburn Hills, Mich.

Maid of honor was Katie Strang and best man was Elliott Walter, brother of the groom. Bridesmaids were Lesley Fusina, cousin of the bride; Meredith Maczka, sister-in-law of the bride; and Carly Oboudiyat, Erin Martin and Jennifer Howard, friends of the bride. Groomsmen were Matthew Maczka and Gregory Maczka, brothers of the bride; and Pete Braun, Mitch McIntyre and Geoff Ruczynski, friends of the groom. Ushers were Travis Brown and Mark Miller.

Stephanie and Jeffrey enjoyed a honeymoon in the Dominican Republic and reside in Grand Rapids.

Stephanie is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and is serving a three-year pediatric residency at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. Jeffrey is a graduate of Michigan State University and has a bachelor of science in supply chain management. He is a senior transportation analyst for GRAINGER.
