WEDDING — Beckett-Lang

Erika Vaughn Lang of Rockford and Bradley John Beckett of Grand Rapids were united in marriage on August 6, 2011 at First United Methodist Church in Grand Rapids. The couple then took a horse-drawn carriage to the reception held at the Eberhard Center at the downtown Grand Valley State University campus.

Parents of the bride are Rob and Lori Lang of Rockford. The groom is the son of Scott and Joedy Beckett of Grand Rapids.

Maid of honor was Jennifer Erickson and best man was Michael Beck. Bridesmaids were Sarah Beckett, sister of the groom; Kate Connor, cousin of the bride; Sarah Dietrich, cousin of the bride; and Amy Munslow and Kelsi Zuk, friends of the bride. Groomsmen included Jonathon Beckett and Stephen Beckett, brothers of the groom; Luke Beckett, cousin of the groom; Kevin Lang, brother of the bride; and Brian Johnson, friend of the groom. Master and mistress of ceremonies were Kim and Gene Hamilton and Terry and Kris Kilgore.

Erika is a graduate of Grand Valley State University College of Education and just completed her student teaching at Lowell High School. Brad is a graduate of Hope College and has a degree in both business and communications. He is employed at the Gordon Food Service corporate office.

Erika and Brad traveled to Hilton Head, South Carolina for their honeymoon. The couple currently reside in Grand Rapids.
