Dr. Heather Cadorette, a Rockford dentist at Dr. Dater & Cadorette, completed the Boston Marathon earlier this month. An avid tri-athlete, this was the first marathon for Cadorette, who ran with friend Susan Haid, head of research and development at Nestle Global.

“The Boston Marathon is an amazing race,” commented Cadorette, “The atmosphere before, during and after the race is electric. The support was incredible even though the heat soared to 89 degrees.”

The heat and lack of shade and cloud cover posed quite a challenge for runners, but Cadorette recalled “the time flew by because of the energy from the spectators and athletes.”

A native of Rockford, Dr. Cadorette is married and has two children, Masyn and Kade. Her husband, Rick, is a teacher at Rockford High School. In her time off, she enjoys activities with her family and spends time swimming, hiking, cycling and enjoying other outdoor sports.
