Several local students recently graduated from Albion College:
Taylor Harding graduated cum laude from Albion College on May 5, receiving a degree in biology with a minor in psychology and chemistry, with a concentration in neuroscience. Harding was one of just 23 students to graduate with Albion College honors, signifying completion of the College Honors Program and an original thesis. The honor of cum laude signifies that Harding graduated with a cumulative grade-point average above 3.5. Harding is the son of David and Megan Harding of Rockford and a graduate of Rockford High School.
Albion College student Timothy Wernet graduated summa cum laude from Albion College on May 5, receiving a degree in economics and management and communication studies, with a concentration in the Carl A. Gerstacker Institute for Business and Management. The honor of summa cum laude signifies that Wernet graduated with a cumulative grade-point average above 3.9. Wernet is the son of Timothy and Suzanne Wernet of Rockford and a graduate of Lowell High School.
