Shain Showers of Belmont has enrolled at the University of Evansville.
Showers, majoring in finance, joins an entering class defined by its strong academic ability and diversity. Members of the freshman class averaged 1,176 on the SAT’s critical reading and math components. (The national average, as reported by SAT, is 1,011.) They also scored an average of 26 on the ACT, compared to a national average of 21. Members of the University of Evansville’s 2012 entering class represent 31 states and 17 countries.
