Rockford resident Dianna Robach very kindly took her local paper along on a special trip. She reports, “I was at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta and brought along the best newspaper in town – The Rockford Squire! The Balloon Fiesta is a nine-day event and is the biggest and best gathering of balloons anywhere on the planet. It’s an amazing, diverse event that brings together huge numbers of balloons and pilots from all over the world. Mass ascensions fill the sky with balloons as far as you can see each day. Special shape events you’ll marvel and laugh – magical night landscapes where you can wander through the glowing balloons and enjoy a fabulous fireworks show.”
