Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor:

I’m supporting Gail Mancewicz in her bid for City Council. Many of my friends and neighbors are also supporting Gail. Gail wants to see that residents of Rockford have a voice at their City Council meetings. She doesn’t have a personal business interest within the City – she’s just a resident. There are plenty of existing members and other candidates who have a personal business interest. Gail is doing this to give the rest of us a voice.

Gail grew up in the Rockford area, graduated from RHS and has lived in the City of Rockford since 2003. She has attended City Council meetings for nearly three years to stay informed about her community. Gail is not afraid to ask tough questions or express her concerns about decisions she feels are not good for our community. She’s not afraid to disagree if the circumstance warrants it. She knows her own mind. I think she will be a voice for all Rockford residents.

I’m voting for Gail Mancewicz on November 6!

Sincerely,

Grace A.M. Smith
