Middle School Lacrosse sign-ups

The Rockford Middle School Lacrosse program will have their annual sign-ups on Monday December 3rd, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at North Rockford Middle School in the cafeteria.

Lacrosse is widely considered the fast growing team sport in America.  It is a sport where individual quickness, agility and coordination benefit athletes in a team environment.  Last year the club had over 170 athletes participate.  Space may be limited due to coaching availability.   Teams are broken up into equal teams, except at the U15 level, where a “Premiere” team is established.  All teams will participate  in the West Michigan Youth Lacrosse league, consisting of many local clubs as well as travel to various tournaments.

The Middle School Club program is for kids from 1st to 8th grade.  The age brackets are broken up as follows:

·         U9        Born on or after 9/1/2003

·         U11      Born on or after 9/1/2001

·         U13      Born on or after 9/1/1999

·         U15      Born on or after 9/1/1997

This is a new breakdown for this year to align with US Lacrosse rules and regulations.

Signups for U9 and U11 will be from 6:00 to 6:40 and a required parent meeting will be held at 6:40pm.  Signups for U13 and U15 will be held from 7:00 to 7:40 with a required parent meeting at 7:40.

Forms and additional information are available at www.rockfordramlax.org.
