Opal J (Truax) Roosa age 90, formerly of Rockford, MI passed away peacefully at Otsego Memorial Hospital, Gaylord, MI November 29, 2012. Opal was preceded in death by her husband John L and son David (Carol) Roosa of Battle Creek, MI.
Surviving are daughters Peggy (Harold) Miller of Gaylord and Deanna (Carl) Greene of Beulah, MI/Mount Dora, FL. Also surviving are grandchildren: David (Patricia) Roosa Jr.; William (Charity) Roosa and their sons Elisha and Gabriel all of Battle Creek, MI; Paul (Leslie) Miller of Cedar, MI and their children Owen and Bela; Brian (Samantha) Miller and their children Braleigh and Finley of Gaylord, MI.
The Reverend John Naile conducted “A Celebration of Life” service at the First United Methodist Church, Gaylord, MI on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 3:00PM.
