The public is invited to pizza and parks meeting at City Hall

As part of the process of identifying the future of parks in Rockford, the public is invited to come down to Rockford City Hall, enjoy free pizza and tell the city what you think. The Pizza and Parks meeting will be held at Rockford City Hall, 7 S. Monroe Street on Thursday, December 13. Residents are encouraged to stop by anytime between 5:30 and 8 p.m.

The informal meeting is family-friendly, and the interests of children is very helpful. The meeting is part of the city’s Parks and Recreation Master Plan which is updated every five years to allow the city to be eligible for State of Michigan grants. Questions and comments about the meeting may be directed to the Rockford City Offices at (616) 866-1537. If you are unable to make the meeting and have hopes and dreams you would like to share please feel free to email the city manager at myoung@rockford.mi.us.
