Rockford’s Jordan Kaufman takes 4th place.

The Rockford Boys Bowling team went to Hudsonville on Saturday 2-9-13 to bowl in the Hudsonville Invite. The guys got off to a good start in the first game with a 1044 and followed it up with two more scores in the 1040 range to be in second going into the baker set. The bakers were ok but we dropped to third place but it was still good enough to get us into the match play round.

Our first round match was a rematch from Fridays conference meet against Grandville. We had some trouble carrying and fell behind by 13 pins after one but our troubles continued into the second game and we lost 192 to 156 to finish forth on the day.

Jordan Kaufman led the way with a 718 set good for fourth in the individual standings with games of 248, 229 and 241. He was followed by Shane Gerow who shot a 674 and then by Eric Buck’s 664.
