Letter to the Editor

Reader appreciates Hills’ stories

I really enjoyed the article about the Rose Parade written by Cliff and Nancy Hill.  In 1965 our family was in LA to go to the Lions Convention when my husband Ken was District Governor. We stayed in the Biltmore Hotel and when I walked to the Lion events at the Sports Arena passing by the Farmers Market I saw the Beverly Hillbillies on location. Did not get to Pasadena but did a lot of sightseeing and the Hills story in the Squire brought back many memories.

Thanks Squire and especially for the great job the Hills do of writing about their travel adventures.

Sadly, I will miss Roger’s articles and wish to send my condolences to Beth, the Editor, and all at the Squire.
