RE/MAX award winner at statewide gala

Remax-2The RE/MAX of Michigan statewide awards gala was held Saturday, February 16th, at the J.W. Marriott in Grand Rapids and recognized the top performing agents and brokerages in Michigan.

RE/MAX United, 28 N. Monroe, Rockford was awarded the Outstanding New Franchise for the state of Michigan. Owners Tom & Tracie Rich opened RE/MAX United in June of 2012 and have grown to 10 agents and 2 support staff.

The award is presented to the Broker/Owner of a franchise either opened within the calendar year or completing their first twelve months of operations during the current calendar year, and whom exhibited exceptional growth through community visibility and recruitment.

In addition to the Outstanding New Franchise Award, Kim Maggini, Operations Manager for RE/MAX United, was named one of three finalists for Outstanding Administrator of the Year.

RE/MAX of Michigan includes 80 franchised offices in Upper and Lower Michigan.

Owner Tracie Rich is not surprised at the initial success the company has had in Rockford, “The RE/MAX motto is Outstanding Agents, Outstanding Results and we definitely have outstanding agents and they have produced outstanding results for their clients all over Rockford and the Greater Grand Rapids area. Tom & I knew going into this that the Rockford community would do everything it could to support us and help us grow and the community has certainly done that. Local businesses, the Chamber of Commerce, the Rockford Squire, and others have reached out to us and offered help and advice along the way that proved invaluable to getting up and running quickly. We are doing everything we can to return that support by being an active participant in local events and an advocate for our community.”
