Readers asked to help with identification of mystery bird

MysterbirdRockford resident Vicki Hall sent the Squire this picture of a bird that has been coming the family feeder. “Maybe you or my fellow readers can help identify our shy bird that has lived in our woods for the last three years. He/she comes to our feeders almost every day. We think he/she is an albino or “morph” cardinal. “My new camera afforded me some nice close up pictures.” If anyone has any insight about this unusual bird, we would love to hear about it. Please email to squiremail@aol.com. We are also always interested in more nature photographs, especially in this time of year when our woodland friends are becoming more active after the long winter.
