Rockford graduate honored as member of Sportsmanship Team

SP-CaywoodDuring a celebration of NCAA Division III athletics at Lake Forest College, Lake Forest, Illinois, Mitch Caywood was recognized as a member of this year’s Sportsmanship Team. Members were chosen for their outstanding sportsmanship both on and off the court/field. Mitch represented the Lake Forest men’s basketball team, one of 14 athletic programs that recognize athletes for their sportsmanship.

Mitch graduated from Rockford High School in 2012 where he also played basketball and was a member of the Division I State Finalist Team. Mitch pursued his education and athletic goals at Lake Forest and will be finishing his freshman year in May. Mitch is the son of Tim and Cindy and brother of Becky, also a Rockford graduate.
