The Rockford Lions awarded their highest honor, the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award, to three of their members. Lions Terry Kalemba, Tom VonEschen and Bob Winegar all received this recognition for the year 2012 to 2013. The fellowship award embodies the humanitarianism ideas consistent with the nature and purpose of Lionism. The three recipients serve as role models because of their exemplary service to the club and the community for which it serves.

“We are proud to have within our membership these individuals who represent the values and ideals that Lions stand for,” said Ron Riebschlager, Rockford Lions Vice President.
