Tennis enjoys nice weather!

TennisLady Rams tennis is working hard on rebuilding their team.  #1 Singles Rockford’s Adeline Nelson, freshman, beat Erin Staal 6-2, 6-2 as the Rams won 3 of 4 singles in a 4-4 tie against Grand Haven.  They have also had a tie against East Kentwood.

“We played pretty well,” Tom Huizing said.  “I have an extremely young team, and I have nine girls that were either on JV or Freshman team last year.”  Rockford’’s Brittany Raisch and Morgan Vermeulen beat Mellissa Eveland and Adi Smith 7-6 (7-3).

Adeline Nelson also beat Holland’s number one player on Saturdays’ Invitational with Holland, Spring Lake, and Forest Hills Eastern.
